P4 (U7): Research and plan content for an original article. For my news article I need to ensure that I adhere to the client brief by creating an article that appeals to a target audience of 16-25 year olds, whilst also keeping it relevant to current affairs that they will be interested in. In terms of genre, my article will be a serious reportage feature article, focused on education and mental health. The article I have decided to write is the best approach to teenage life. I feel like it's not spoken about enough in the media, especially from the point of view of teens themselves. P1 (U16): Explain how different sound elements are used. Sound in film Case study: Wall-E (2008) The first media product I will investigate is Wall-E, an animated film from 2008. They use an old army generator to create the sounds for Wall-E when he has to be quiet in a scene so he's not moving very fast as a sound. Army generator Moreover, in order to create the sounds for when he is moving fast they layered the first sound with a recording of an inertia starter which was used to start engines on old aerop...

P3(U7): Describe the structure and purpose for different news articles. News articles are structured differently according to their purpose and audience. This depends on the platform and whether the provider is a part of the tabloid or broadsheet press. The Times, January 27th 2020 The Times Above is The Times newspaper cover page from Monday 27th January 2020. The Times is a broadsheet newspaper. Its target audience is largely middle class, with close to 6.3 million of their readers classified as ABC1 according to the NRS social grade system. The Times is predominantly right wing, more sophisticated than tabloid papers, and written in formal language. The smaller headline for this newspaper is "UK citizens trapped in virus-hit Chinese city". It is written in formal language in order to cater to its target audience. It is factual and does not use emotive language. Before the article starts, a brief introduction is included to inform readers of what the rest of...
